Theresa Waddell, a Certified Public Accountant℠ is well-versed in helping families with complex tax and estate planning issues. She also works with medical and legal practices, closely-held businesses, and executives. Prior to affiliating in July 2007 with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., Theresa was district manager with Waddell & Reed, Inc., manager of internal audit with The Nature Conservancy in Arlington, VA, and senior auditor with the National Geographic Society and Arthur Andersen & Co. in Washington, D.C.

Theresa is founder and past president of the Arlington Special Education PTA, the first of its kind in Virginia and the DC metro area, and past president and current chair of the Personal Financial Planning Committee of the Northern Chapter Virginia Society of CPAs.

Theresa graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and International Management.
